Dr. Kevin McSweeney, owner of Five Freedom Dairy pets Sissy the cow on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Five Freedom Dairy is a small dairy farm located in Loveland Colorado. Dr. McSweeney named his farm off of the Five Freedoms to animal welfare set in place by the UK. The five freedoms are freedom of hunger and thirst, freedom from discomfort, freedom from pain, injury or disease, freedom to express normal behavior and freedom from fear and distress.

According to Colorado Department of Human Services there is an average reduction of $90 per person, per month or an average of $360 a month for a family of four.
The town of Erie, Colorado put together the third annual Hope and Gratitude Project on Friday, March 10, 2023. Soaring Heights PTO started this project in 2021 as an event to build community. This year the event was held on Briggs St., and featured luminaries created by students and staff from most elementary schools throughout Erie. A portable speaker was played during the even with statements from staff and students of their hopes and and what they are grateful for. "I'm hopeful of everyone to be kind to one another, I am grateful for my family, friends and my school," said an Erie Elementary School student.
The Colorado Hula group performs a traditional Hawaiian dance on March 4, 2023 in the Glenn Miller Ballroom at CU Boulder's main campus. The Colorado Hula group is part of CU Boulders International Festival. The festival is a student-organized event hosting 17 different performances.
Ahmad Siddiqi and his family arrive to Denver International Airport on Sunday, August 22, 2021. The Siddiqi family had to walk through a tunnel knee deep full of human sewage with their four children to get to the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan. When they arrive to the airport they were promised freedom America. "We left one family, and joined another," said Siddiqi.
